ePeek Pro Nature eSun filament

Description

ePeek Pro Nature eSun filament

0.25 Kg

As some of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of high-quality 3D Filaments, as well as one of the most diverse ranges of different polymers available, it’s not too surprising to find that eSUN have stepped up once again to improve their already-impressive eSUN ePEEK formula with a specialised Pro variation.

This new eSUN ePEEK Pro Filament is made for 1.75mm compatible 3D Printers, and is supplied in spools of 0.25kg, with the natural PEEK colour of beige. It is an improved polymer from the their original eSUN ePEEK Filament, offering a smoother and more consistent finish thanks to the addition of a small amount of specialised lubricant, which of course improves upon the low friction-coefficient of PEEK, with the added benefit of reduced discolouration of prints.

EPEEK PRO: A HIGHLY SPECIALISED POLYMER

Because PEEK is a very specialised material, it is typically not possible to print this filament on standard desktop or Hobbyist 3D Printers, and will require a specialised “High-Temperature 3D Printer” with a full convection-heated enclosure, ±400°C capable hotend assembly, as well as a good general design to keep the electronics and other parts away from the high temperatures. However, a few very experienced and savvy Makers have been able to convert their desktop 3D printers into high-temp printers, but this is not only difficult, and can also be costly, so if you’re unsure at all about whether you could do the conversion, it may be a better idea to simply utilise easier Exotic Filaments with similar capabilities instead.

Parameters

Printing temperature: 390~410℃

Printing speed :40~70mm/s

Baseplate temperature: 120~150℃

Chamber temperature: >90℃

Note

1.It’s better to dry the ePC filament before printing(70℃/>6H).the eBOX is suggested to use when printing the ePC filament.
2.The shingkage of ePeek Pro material is high.So pls use printer which has chamber to print the ePeek Pro filament.
3.eEPEEK Pro is prone to warping when printing. Pls increase thechamber temperature and plate temperature ; choose a bottom plate with high flatness and high temperature resistance; Leveling is required before printing.
4. Uneven crystallization of ePEEK Pro material may occur during the printing process. Try to increase the chamber temperature and reduce the cooling speed of the PEEK material; if necessary, an oven is required for post-annealing. Annealing after printing can improve mechanical performance. Put it in the oven 150 ℃/1h→200℃/1h→150℃/0.5h.
