For FDM print makers, when printing complex models, they often use many supporting materials to assist in printing. However, in this process, some support materials are difficult to remove, which is too time-consuming. Sometimes, after the process of removing, the degree of damage may caused. Therefore, how to quickly and effectively remove these support materials is a great breakthrough to create.
Aimed at the problem appeared in removing complex model supports, eSUN has launched a water-soluble support material for high-quality printing use, which named as ‘PVA material’, this type of material is specially designed for printing parts with extremely complex shapes. It provides solid and reliable support. And when you put the printed product into the water tank after being molded, it can be completely dissolved in normal temperature water within a few hours.
eSoluble support materials, as the name implies, it can be dissolved in water. So the redundant parts can be rapidly dissociating in the model by the process of dissolving, which will increase the manufacturing speed to a certain extent.
Compared with PVA materials, eSoluble's attributes are better and the print model is more easier for shaping. It has the following four advantages:

Diameter Consistency:
It's important that your filament has a very constant diameter if you want to get a great looking print. Variance in filament diameter will result in poor surface quality (primarily on vertical sections), because it produces unwarranted and uncontrollable fluctuations in extrusion rates.
eSUN promises that their filament has a tolerance of ±0.05mm across all of their rolls that they produce, but in reality, the quality of eSUN's filament far exceeds their listed specifications.
One independent reviewer found that the "vast majority" of the eSUN filament they tested in fact had a tolerance of ±0.015mm! Additionally, premium looking prints made with eSUN filaments (like what's found in our gallery) authenticate the claims of many that eSUN produces very consistent filament.

PRINT SETTINGS
- Hotend: 210°C
- First Layer: 220°C
- Heated bed: 0-60°C (we use 40° and UHU glue for adhesion)
- Cooling fan: on after first layers
- Min layer time: 8 seconds
**These slicer settings are simply our recommended starting point—every printer is different so you may have to fine tune your setup.
