ABS-Like Resin Pro 2

Description

Both strength and toughness with excellent upgrades

Compared to its predecessor, ABS-Like Resin +, which boasts excellent tensile and flexural strength, Anycubic ABS-Like Resin Pro 2 further improves toughness by increasing elongation at break by more than 100%, resulting in stronger printed parts. It is ideal for printing parts that require high strength and toughness, such as structural parts, industrial prototypes, and jigs and fixtures.

Performance is significantly superior to ABS-Like Resin.

Anycubic ABS-Like Resin Pro 2 is developed with a formula that provides a high tensile strength at break of 35~40%, which is an increase of 114% compared to ABS-Like Resin +.

High fluidity, easy to print

With its low viscosity and excellent flow, it reduces resin cure time and makes shaping easier. Anycubic ABS-Like Resin Pro 2 reflows quickly, reducing separation during printing, and it also adheres better to the substrate, effectively reducing the risk of print failure.

High accuracy with low shrinkage

With a reduced shrinkage rate, there is less chance of warping of the part, resulting in highly accurate results with sharp and clear details in every part of the model.

Low odor for a pleasant typing experience

The low-odor formula reduces discomfort for those sensitive to odors, making the environment during resin printing more comfortable and friendly.

Instructions for use

(1) Before use:
Shake the resin bottle well before use. Clean the resin tank and printing plate to keep the resin tank bottom in good condition and allow light to pass through effectively.

(2) During use:
Open the bottle cap and fill the tank with the appropriate amount of resin for your printer. Select the correct printing parameters and settings according to the resin type and equipment used.

(3) After use:
When printing is complete, please use appropriate tools for post-printing, such as blades, diagonal forceps, tweezers, containers, gloves, and cleaning agents such as ethanol (≥95%), lactate, or isopropanol.

(4) Post-printing steps:
A. Use a knife to carefully remove the workpiece from the press.
B. Soak the workpiece in cleaning solution, rinse or clean it with an ultrasonic cleaner, then remove and dry it — ANYCUBIC Wash and Cure is recommended for better results.
C. Make additional decorations as desired, such as cutting supports, polishing, or painting.

Caution:

  • The ideal environment for storing uncured resin is a cool, dark, room temperature area and away from sunlight or high heat.

  • The recommended temperature for printing is 18–35°C. Too low a temperature may affect the print quality. The resin should be preheated before use, but not exceeding 60°C.

  • If the pigment in the resin is found to precipitate, it can be shaken or stirred before use.

  • To maintain the effectiveness of the resin, the workpiece should be removed from the cleaning solution as soon as possible and avoid leaving it immersed for too long.

  • To ensure good mechanical properties of the workpiece , post-curing should be performed immediately after washing and drying.

  • To achieve maximum material performance, the light curing intensity and duration should be controlled as follows:
    (1) Use a mercury lamp or LED light source with an intensity of 5–10 mW/m² and cure for no more than 1 hour (adjustable according to actual conditions).
    (2) If using direct sunlight during summer, allow about 1 hour of drying time.
    (3) Do not place the workpiece near or under strong light sources for a long time, such as high-pressure mercury lamps.
    (4) It is recommended to print in a dark room or close the lid while printing, as the resin is photosensitive (it is a photosensitive material).
