Description
eSUN ePA (Nylon) Filament – High-strength nylon plastic filament.
eSUN ePA is a nylon/polyamide filament for 3D printers designed for printing high-durability engineering components. This filament is exceptionally tough, flexible, and wear-resistant, making it ideal for creating mechanical parts, gears, or prototypes that need to withstand impact.
Key Features:
-
High toughness and impact resistance: Highly impact-resistant, not easily broken, and inherently flexible.
-
Wear Resistance: Suitable for parts subject to friction or movement, such as gears or nuts.
-
Chemical and heat resistant: Highly resistant to oil, grease, and various chemicals, and can withstand higher temperatures than typical PLA filament.
-
High precision: Manufactured to rigorous standards, resulting in consistently round lines and reducing nozzle clogging problems (No Clogging).
-
Transparent: The plastic material is translucent, resulting in a beautiful and smooth surface finish.
-
Environmentally friendly: No toxic substances and low odor during printing.

⚠️ Important Tips:
-
Moisture: Nylon is a highly hygroscopic material. The filament must always be completely dry before printing (using a filament drying box such as the eSUN eBOX is recommended) to prevent air bubbles and uneven surfaces.
-
Adhesion: Nylon typically does not adhere to a bare glass base. Adhesive is needed to prevent the piece from peeling or warping.
Caution: ePA or Nylon yarns are highly absorbent. Avoid moisture, and the yarn should be kept dry during use to prevent moisture damage.
The filament must be cured at 70 degrees Celsius for more than 12 hours before printing.
