PA12-CF (Nylon6 Carbon Fiber) Inslogic Filament

Description

Elevate your 3D printing to a professional level with Inslogic PA12-CF. Inslogic Industrial PA12-CF is a high-performance 3D printer filament chosen by engineers. Made from Nylon 12 (PA12) and reinforced with 20% Carbon Fiber (CF), it's designed for parts requiring maximum durability, lightweight construction, and excellent resistance to harsh environments.

Why choose Inslogic PA12-CF?

  • Superior Strength (High Strength-to-Weight Ratio): The carbon fiber blend results in higher stiffness and impact resistance compared to conventional plastic filaments, making it ideal for end-use applications subjected to significant stress.

  • High heat resistance up to 177°C: Thanks to its high Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT), the workpiece does not deform even when used in high-temperature environments such as engine rooms or industrial equipment.

  • Low Moisture Sensitivity: Unlike typical PA6, PA12 has very low moisture absorption, resulting in high dimensional stability and resistance to warping or shrinkage.

  • Chemical and wear resistant: Ideal for manufacturing jigs and fixtures that are constantly exposed to oil, chemicals, or friction.

  • Easy to print and beautiful finish: Provides a luxurious and professional-looking matte black finish. Excellent layer bonding.

Applications:

  • Automotive and aerospace parts

  • Factory jigs, fixtures & tooling

  • Drones and high-performance sporting goods.

  • Functional prototypes (parts requiring strength testing)

Technical specifications

  • Diameter: 1.75 mm ± 0.03 mm

  • Net Weight: 1 kg / 500g / 250g

  • Tensile Strength: 103 MPa

  • Flexural Modulus: 5468 MPa

  • Heat Deflection Temp (0.45MPa): 177 °C

  • Density: 1.0466 g/cm³

Recommended print settings

  • Nozzle Temperature: 260 - 280 °C (Hardened Steel or Ruby nozzles are recommended, as carbon fiber inclusions can cause premature wear on brass nozzles.)

  • Bed Temperature: 60 - 70 °C

  • Printing Speed: 50 - 100 mm/s

  • Enclosure: We recommend using an enclosure to control the temperature.

  • Drying: For best results, pre-drying at 90°C for 12 hours or 110°C for 4 hours is recommended before printing.
