PA Nylon Clear eSun filament

Description

eSUN ePA (Nylon) Filament – High-Strength Nylon Plastic Filament

eSUN ePA, developed from Nylon 6/66 Copolymer for 3D printers, is designed for printing engineering parts that require high durability. It offers excellent toughness, up to 175% flexibility, and outstanding wear resistance. It is suitable for mechanical parts, gears, or prototype parts that need to withstand impact.

Key Features:

  • High Toughness & Impact Resistance: Elongation at break up to 175%, good impact resistance, not easily broken.

  • Self-lubricating & Wear Resistant: Self-lubricating properties, ideal for parts that experience friction or movement, such as gears or nuts.

  • Chemical and Heat Resistance: Good resistance to oil, grease, and various chemicals, as well as higher heat resistance than standard PLA filaments.

  • High Precision: Diameter tolerance within +/- 0.05mm, smooth feeding, no tangling, reduces nozzle clogging issues.

  • Transparent: Translucent plastic, providing a beautiful and smooth finish.

  • Environmentally Friendly: Non-toxic and low odor during printing.

Specifications:

  • Material: Nylon 6/66 Copolymer (Polyamide)

  • Diameter: 1.75 mm (+/- 0.05mm)

  • Weight: 1 kg (per spool)

  • Color: Natural / Transparent

Printing Parameters:

  • Nozzle Temp: 230 - 260°C

  • Bed Temp: 70 - 90°C

  • Fan Speed: 0% (Fan off)

  • Print Speed: 40 - 100 mm/s

  • Build Surface: Nylon does not adhere well to bare glass beds. It is recommended to use a PVA Glue Stick if a PEI sheet is not available.

⚠️ Important Tips:

  1. Moisture: Nylon is very hygroscopic (absorbs moisture easily). Always dry the filament thoroughly before printing at 70°C for more than 12 hours. It is recommended to use it with a filament dryer box, such as the eSUN eBOX, to prevent bubbles and uneven surfaces.

  2. Adhesion: Nylon often does not stick to bare glass beds. It is necessary to apply an adhesive to help with adhesion and prevent the print from detaching or warping.
