eSUN ePA (Nylon) Filament – High-Strength Nylon Filament

eSUN ePA is developed from Nylon 6/66 Copolymer for 3D printers and is designed for printing engineering parts that require high durability. It has high toughness, up to 175% flexibility, and excellent wear resistance. It is suitable for mechanical parts, gears, or prototypes that need to withstand impact.

Key Features:

  • High Toughness & Impact Resistance: Elongates up to 175% before breaking, good impact resistance, not easy to break.

  • Self-lubricating & Wear Resistant: Self-lubricating properties, suitable for parts that involve friction or movement, such as gears or nuts.

  • Chemical and Heat Resistance: Good resistance to oils, greases, and various chemicals, as well as higher heat resistance than general PLA filaments.

  • High Precision: Diameter deviation not exceeding +/- 0.05mm. Smooth feeding, no tangling, reduces nozzle clogging issues.

  • Transparent: The plastic is translucent, providing a beautiful and smooth finish.

  • Environmentally Friendly: Non-toxic and low odor during printing.

Printing Parameters:

  • Build Surface: Nylon does not adhere well to bare glass beds. It is recommended to use a PVA Glue Stick if a PEI sheet is not available.

⚠️ Important Tips:

  1. Moisture: Nylon is a very hygroscopic material. Always dry the filament thoroughly before printing at 70°C for more than 12 hours. It is recommended to use with a filament dryer box, such as eSUN eBOX, to prevent air bubbles and uneven surface finishes.

  2. Adhesion: Nylon often does not stick to bare glass beds. It is necessary to use an adhesive to help with adhesion to prevent the print from peeling or warping.
