Glass Fiber Reinforced PLA 1.75 mm, 1 KG

Glass fiber reinforced PLA filament is developed from PLA, with 16% glass fiber added, which significantly increases its strength and impact resistance compared to standard PLA.
ePLA-GF has a high Bending Modulus of up to 4400 MPa, making it very stiff and resistant to warping.

This glass fiber reinforced PLA filament has high impact resistance and is easy to print, making it suitable for printing prototypes of machine parts that require strength and impact durability. It also has wear-resistant properties, making it ideal for printing gears, and can be used as temporary functional parts.

  • Nozzle Temp: 210 - 230°C (Recommended 220°C)
  • Bed Temp: 45 - 60°C
  • Printing Speed: 40 - 80 mm/s

Precautions

  1. ePLA-GF is very stiff and not easily bent. Avoid excessive bending of the filament in the feeding pipeline.
  2. ePLA-GF can easily wear down nozzles and feeding gears. A hardened steel nozzle or ruby nozzle should be used if possible. A hardened steel feeding gear should also be used. If printing for a long time and clogging occurs, the throat and nozzle should be replaced.
  3. The cooling fan can be partially turned off to increase the model's strength.
